Here we are, it’s the 5th week of the One Room Challenge and I am so ready to show you the gorgeous Morgan sconce lighting!

Say what? How did the 5th week get here so fast! Next week is all about the big reveal and beyond thrilled with the way this room is sizing up.  One of the biggest “wow” factors in the room? Well, that would be the Crystorama Morgan sconce!

The One Room Challenge is a bi-annual event taking place in the spring and summer. For 6 weeks, 20 featured designers and over 150 guest participants feverishly complete a room of their choice. The event is filled with excitement, anticipation, and camaraderie as we cheer and encourage each other to finish the space.

I look forward to participating in every season possible. I have made some pretty amazing friends over the years and it is so much fun when we connect in person at various conferences!

I am so honored to have been given this opportunity to showcase their lighting in my ORC room. I chose the Morgan Sconce to flank the bed, I loved the design and the star detail reminded me of a compass rose.  A perfect addition to a room that is all about the art and science of flight!

In week 4, I shared the beautiful flat panel wall treatment and these beautiful brass sconces are even more stunning on the moody blue wall. Take a look…

 All the little nuances make the difference in a room. In other words, the details are everything when designing a space. Crystorama does a beautiful job balancing beautiful design and function in a quality product.

I photographed the room at a couple of points during the day to show you the way this Sherwin Williams Indigo Batik plays with Crystorama Morgan sconce… I think they became fast friends!

Next week the wait, the sneak peeks, and teases will all be over when week 6 offers – “The Big Reveal”!  I can’t wait to “ooh and ahh” over my fellow designer/bloggers’ rooms and share my interpretation of a sciency gentleman’s quarters.
