Bedroom Refresh Update –

The room is officially painted and it’s looking pretty, well, pretty! The room feels airy and light.

I decided to paint the dark fan with a color I had out in the garage, SW Repose Gray, love how subtle the color is against the ceiling now.

I changed my mind on the grasscloth (I know BIG surprise, ha!) and decided to try just for grins using the same repose gray as on the grasscloth. Using a small brush, I whitewashed the cloth until it made me happy. Ready to add another color to the cloth but when I stepped back- I liked it with just the one color.

Next issue was the bamboo, what to do? I tried dry brushing it and I didn’t dig it. So I decided to try the trim color and it just works.

We dug through more of our paint stash and chose a beautiful color to paint the back of the shelf units. I am saving that for the reveal. 😉

Paint has definitely been our ally on this project. I still have a few fun projects to break out before the big reveal, so I had better get back to it! Don’t leave without seeing all the amazing rooms being transformed for $100!

Till Later,
