Mad for Plaid Christmas Home Tour

| |

‘Tis the Season! Time to deck the halls and take this mad for plaid Christmas home tour.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Hello! I am so very glad you are here for this year’s plaid Christmas home tour. Are you coming over from Kim’s Cottage in the Mitten? Wasn’t that a lovely tour? If you haven’t been over there – just click here.

The “theme” is anchored by an idea I had for the mantle. I was thinking about the old-school idea of a mantle scarf and giving it an update.

Hence the following –

I bought a few yards of plaid fabric from the craft store. Then I just fan-folded one end and attached it using a Command hook. Next, I just swooped the fabric to the other side to create a swag effect.

I loved how it turned out and just ran with the plaid. So let’s take a tour of the Merry spaces!

The Living Room –

I had to rearrange the furniture this year due to the placement of the tree – do you ever do that? So the layout feels a little different – a little “off” but I kinda like it – at least for the season.

The Kitchen –

Ok, this is actually the kitchen’s debut. I have shown you little pieces of it but not fully in her glory. I just love its swanky little self!

Breakfast Room-

And… this is the other room having its debut! So different from where we started – including the added built-in storage and counter space. I have been wanting to hang festive wreaths from the moment we looked the house plans over.

Let’s head over to Lora of Create and ponder and see all the Christmas magic!

Merry Christmas Dear Friends!
