Design Hound at KBIS 2026: Exploring the Future of Kitchen and Bath Design Trends
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be attending KBIS 2026 as an official Design Hound — and if you know me at all, you know this is my version of a design treasure hunt.
KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show) is where the future of the home quietly steps onto the stage. It’s where brands reveal what they’ve been developing behind the scenes — smarter function, better performance, refined materials, and thoughtful upgrades that shape how we live every day. It’s not just about what looks new. It’s about what actually changesthe experience of the kitchen and bath.
And that’s exactly what I’ll be watching for.
Finding What Truly Matters
Trade shows can be overwhelming in the best way. There’s sparkle, innovation, and excitement everywhere you turn. But my goal isn’t to chase trends just because they’re loud or flashy.
I’ll be hunting for my favorite finds — the designs, products, and technologies that are:
- genuinely improving daily life
- elevating how kitchens and baths function
- solving real design challenges
- and pushing the industry forward in meaningful ways
Not every shiny thing is revolutionary. And not every innovation is worth the noise. I’m interested in what’s thoughtful. What’s refined. What feels like the next chapter in how we live in our homes.
Those are the discoveries I’ll be sharing.
Discovering the Next Level of Kitchen & Bath Design
KBIS is where you start to see the shift in the industry before it reaches the public. Materials evolve. Systems become smarter. Function meets beauty in new ways. The conversation moves from “what’s new” to “what’s better.”
I’ll be exploring what’s been upgraded for a smoother everyday life — and what is truly next-level game changing for kitchens and baths. From performance innovations to aesthetic breakthroughs, I’m excited to bring back ideas that designers and homeowners alike should have on their radar.
The 2026 Design Hounds Team
One of the best parts of this experience is the people. The Design Hounds program brings together an incredible group of designers from across the country, each with a unique voice and perspective. I’m honored to be part of this year’s team.
The official Design Hounds website has just released their introduction blog post featuring the 2026 team, and it’s a wonderful peek at the designers heading into KBIS together. If you’re curious about who’s walking the show floor, sharing insights, and spotlighting innovation this year, it’s worth a read.
Follow the Hunt
I’ll be documenting my days at KBIS — favorite finds, standout moments, and the ideas that deserve attention. Expect honest reactions, thoughtful discoveries, and a curated look at what I believe will influence the next wave of kitchen and bath design.
Because the best part of KBIS isn’t just seeing what’s new.
It’s discovering what’s next.
