One Room Challenge Linking Participants

This will be my third One Room Challenge. For my first challenge I took on a under utilized, under valued pantry and turned it into a fun little mini grocery.

My second challenge took us to the study where the hubby got his wish as we updated his space to reflect one of his favorite books, 20,ooo Leagues Under the Sea.

Both challenges were tough- six weeks isn’t as long as it seems.  Sometimes it takes me six weeks, shoot six years to come up with a design plan! Ha!

So…where will we go for this challenge?!? Well, we are heading to the powder rooms! We have a powder room downstairs that needs a little oomph.

We have already begun work on the bones of the space and I am digging where it’s going. The upstairs powder room is where the real challenge will occur.

It is a great space right off the game room but the brilliant architects created the powder room to share with the third bedroom’s shower area. Which on the surface seems ok unless you have a 12 year old… boy.

The boy isn’t fond of the current decor in the powder room area and frankly I have lost that loving feeling many moons ago. Time for a change!

Both bathrooms will receive a bit of retro love. Downstairs will go more jewel toned and upstairs will be more swanky. Our game room vibe is “The Big Game” room – a play off words.

I am super excited to show the inspiration board for the spaces! That will have to be next week so come back and visit me!

In the meantime, check out the creative featured designers and linking participants!

Oh! and go have a look at my two previous challenges. They turned out pretty okay. 🙂
