Happy Day to you!
I love Spring. This time of the year brings so much hope and remembrance of just how truly life’s details are not completely mine to control – and that is a good thing.
I left you a few weeks ago with the idea of painting interior doors. Thinking outside the trim color. I am happy to say that I am thrilled with BM’s color Wrought Iron and I can’t wait to show you. The floors are officially in place and they are holding up to my small horse of a dog. We added a couple of fun projects along the way and I will share them with you next week.
Life here has been a challenge and a blessing. I am sure you are in the same boat. I believe in always starting with the blessings. Last weekend I had the honor of helping a dear friend decorate her parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. How amazing is that?!? I will share the details with you soon. The challenge part – well, let’s just say many are facing the same and when the time is right – I will share.
Now I have caught you up a bit, lets talk about today. I am prepping for Easter dinner. I am excited to have all my chick- a -dees under one roof this year even if it is only for a day – I will take it!. We are keeping dinner simple this year so we can spend every moment together as a family and visit.

By popular request… Stuffed Eggs. I add sautéed onions, barbecue sauce, minced garlic to the egg mixture. I chop and sprinkle oven baked bacon and chives on top. Such a versatile little dish – make it your own – add your favorite ingredients!
The standard Roasted Veggies will make an appearance. Potatoes, carrots, asparagus and brussels sprouts.
My favorite “Go-To” summer meal of Grilled Lemon and Rosemary Chicken.
Another family favorite and heavily requested Lemon Meringue Pie
Throw in a few rolls and that is it, folks.
Have a beautiful weekend. May you be blessed. May you find hope in hopeless situations. May you be comforted. May you be happy.
